Almost certain I've seen that helmet in the shops before.

Maybe it was just a very a similar looking one.

You are thinking of the regular Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet. This looks similar but has the Flex protection in it.
The regular MX 9 you can get at Motorcycle World. R4 600

TL;DR Bell MX9 Adventure is not the Bell MX9 Flex even though they look the same.

I have the T5. Great helmet for MX riding imho. I really like the peak and very comfortable goggle wise. If you are a "Long chinned guy" just double check the fitment though.

I used that Venture quite a bit and then I got a regular road helmet again (Skwal).... a very claustrophobic experience at first. The space in that helmet is great and because it caters for "long chins" I never had a fogging issue

I got my Spirit at motorcycle warehouse off Malibongwe.
I haven't used it for intercom, but phone calls are perfect and the FM radio is fine too.

I fitted it
A bit of trial and error around positioning the ear phones, but otherwise really simple.

I'm just curious. I have never examined a helmet with one fitted so I don't know how it's done.

Had no need to go on the freeway until now. I have done a trip out to Harties but that's not the same
