I wear my jacket, gloves, helmet.

With it getting colder I now wear a jersey but nothing else. Will probably wear my rain jacket as well, for that extra layer.

Need new gloves actually, my ones....well they have fingertip holes.
 
You put it on, then you get someone to grab onto the helmet and shake it vigorously to see of it moves. If it does, it's too big. If it tries to compress your face like zip file, it's too small...

Put it on :p

All manufacturers differ though, iirc I can get a S or XS shark on, but nothing smaller than a M Scorpion for instance
edit: and the internal shapes are different too. You need to match the helmet shape to yours

FYI, Bell qualifiers are listed at R2k at Motorcycle World in Parow as well... this is via Gumtree so it may have sold already. Or are you looking for something else?
 
For the helmet you should also aim for a tight fit on the first fitting since it does mold to your head as you wear it becoming loser fitting over time.

For the winter gear I would say proper winter gloves and a buff bandana for around your neck and chin. That buff was a revelation when I first tried it out. You can also start wearing pantyhose if you find your riding pants are to cold which is an old traffic officer trick.

Ja on revzilla, they say the qualifier ships with clear visor only... Sorry about that. I would still take this helmet over a spirit anyway.
