I've never understood the fascination with the 916.

Maybe I just took notice of it after other bikes had already come along but it always seemed old and dated to me.

Sure at the time there wasn't much else that looked good but I don't understand why after the fact it still gets so much praise in the looks department.

It's like people calling Nirvana or The Beatles good bands...

Every Ducati that came after outside of the first Multistrada is better looking.

Then there is also the fact that they are actually notoriously **** and unreliable.

My helmet is still good, I'll give it a good wash and try and sell it.

One day I'll probably put shelves in my garage with them all on.

They each have a story to tell and kind of match a bike per helmet.
