Of course he did... Never the salesman's fault.Already have, salesman apologized profusely, said he told them not to just stick it on.
Some thoughts?
Buying a secondhand bike from a dealer. The bike is in excellent condition overall. They sent me the jobcard now for the pre-delivery service. They want R4000 for oil, oil filter, brake fluid, air filter being washed and the usual checks. No brakes changed. Its a 2014 ZX10 with ~6000km on the clock
Is it just me who things that is just plain robbery?
Pre-delivery "service" is their problem, not yours. Should have been costed into the purchase/trade price when they acquired the bike. Scaly dealer - or at least it certainly seems to be so. Here's the problem though: say you won't pay & they must do it - how do you trust them to do the job? Say you will pay & they must do it: How do you trust they have done the job?
If it was me, I'd run a mile & never look back at a scummy dealer like this.
Hahaaa you must k*k them out properly .
WoosyLooks bloody good but i have just spent more than 20K on mine so i am a bit reluctant to spend any more .

Such poor excuses...Nice sorry can't make it, have a number plate issue I'm dealing with
For a bike I wouldn't pay more than R1500 for PDI and on the road nonsense. Some thoughts?

Just had it discounted from R4500 to R3500 for a car.
Previously has it scrapped on a new bike.
They are probably having you pay for the 6 month warranty.
Even the 20k service with a valve check shouldn't cost that much.
You seem to be of a good mind to be hardegat enough to walk away which is often all that's required to have these things disappear.yeah its all pretty off putting
Out of curiosity, why would they need to service the bike before it gets sold. Surly it should be within it's service schedule and if it's not I wouldn't touch it. I hate how they load these fees on top of the price. They should include it all. Fire it up - the price you see is the price you pay.

Dam! I definitely remember them punting that the price you see is the price you pay. This is quite disappointing. This is fire it up, ticket price ended up way more on the contract
