I've since been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
So mostly my back and wrists but not necessarily the bike's fault. It just amplified my condition.
I also suffer from Crohn's, and recently sold one of my bikes due to the riding position.

First longish trip done. Got to harties ok but jeez my hands tingled from the vibration for ages...
Upper Deck? And you didn't invite me? Pooey
Harties is like riding to work. It has the same amount of traffic.
Engine just seized I think. Sudden loss of power, clanking noises, smoke.
Thanks Monday. You're awesome.
@Baxteen - Could they help you?
I have found a guy. yes. but after speaking to a few people, the only person I actually felt I could trust after chatting about the problems is the guy Skeptic refered to to in PM.
its way out of my way, and it is going to cost me a bit, but its someone that from the start was not afraid to tell me where and why he would take the bike depending on what is wrong.
the other places all felt like they had no clear plan, and would simply look for a new part, something that cannot be done (if that is the problem).
now I need to free up money somehow, get the bike to the other side of the world (or it feels like it anyway) and then wait for him to get back to me with a full quote.
but I spoke to everyone mentioned in this thread, two people I was referred to from another friend, two guys I googled, and then the Guy skeptic refered me too.
only the Guy skeptic referred me to felt like he had a clear plan.
because I have been struggling for so long, I have more of an idea of what needs to happen, and the other guys just felt like they wanted to take me for a ride when it comes to money.
Well that's good, I'm happy for you!
What bike is it?
....
So hold more with your legs and release the grip. Also make sure your arms are bent and not locked straight.
...
...
This makes me hold on too tight and tires out my hands. Have to consciously remind myself to relax and not fight the natural balance....
Thanks for the tips.
Now my legs hurt.![]()
Going to get a pair of grips.
Ok, so something which has come up for me, which sadly I got fined for is an illegal lane splitting move in traffic. My question to the more intelligent riders, when is lane splitting illegal? Yes, it is legal in most cases, but clearly it's illegal to split lanes in certain circumstances. Do any of you know?
