Glad you're okay bud. Bikes can be replaced, lives cannot. Hopefully the insurance can have you up and running in no time and that that old ballie will think twice next time before trying a stunt like that again

Indicator, handle bar, clutch lever, fairings, mirror damaged?
Crash bobbin?
 
Damage ia actually a lot less than expected. Some scratches on the engine cover, clutch lever, bar end. Gear lever off and scratches on rear left bobbin. That us it. So almost nothing. Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Just reminds you again that stuff can go wrong quickly.

Did you try BMW Insurance? They were only marginally more expensive than my broker. You obviously need to have a BMW but that's not a problem for you.

Getting it second hand. Buying privately - just getting the bike serviced there before taking collection.

Aah righto.

Then I'm almost sure they'll give you the best deal.

They offered me an almost level deal with my own insurer who then beat it marginally with a better excess structure so I didn't move.
 
Did 220 freeway km in the last couple of days, compared to my normal 15km a day rush hour Sandton trip.

One thing about Honda...
What the **** is with them and ignition keys made of spaghetti? Especially when you use it to open the frunk and fuel cap cover. More so when only half the key goes into the frunk /fuel slot, so it twists if there is any sort of resistance??
I've now bent both keys. Fortunately managed to straighten them to the point of usability again, but it's scary how soft they are. I think I'll get an after market key cut, hopefully it's a bit stronger.

Maybe the 750 is different. I was able to straighten mine with my fingers...
