Netflix cracks down on password sharing

What is the purpose of offering 4 streams then? Is it for people with 4 TVs in their house with 4 different people watching?

Will this idea of Netflix prevent me from watching their channel if I am temporarily in another house for a few weeks or months?

Bottom line is, I pay for 4 connections or 4 devices, it is none of their business who or where they are utilized.

Absolutely agree with this...

Idiocracy at its best.

If you didn't agree with their T&C's when signing up, why did you sign then?

That's called a breach of contract.

4.2. The Netflix service and any content viewed through the service are for your personal and non-commercial use only and may not be shared with individuals beyond your household. During your Netflix membership we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Netflix service and view Netflix content. Except for the foregoing, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you. You agree not to use the service for public performances.

Next time read the terms and conditions before thinking you have a leg to stand on.

It is when those people are outside your household or friends. Really people are entitled asses. I bet all of the people complaining over how Dstv isn't worth it are also still pirating to get everything their dumbed down service doesn't offer.

hope they realise they will lose tons of paying customers if they do this. Personally i have the one service, my partner has the netflix because we want to try minimize our piracy, which both of the families use everyone once in a while. if they corner us and make us both get our own as well as exclude the family, then bye bye netflix hello torrents and streaming again.

The entitled justification in this post says it all.

So if the wife is in CT, the child in Pretoria and me in Alberton we are cool?

;) As someone who is currently paying for his content, i have every right to feel entitled. I'm paying for a service to suit my needs.
If they change their terms and conditions and make their products and services unaffordable and unappealing (like the road dstv have been taking) then alternatives only have a chance to take flight once people are defiant and can justify why they are.

No you pay for what they are willing to provide.

Oh please. If you can't afford it, so be it. Don't try and justify piracy.
