No No, You have to be specific with santa else he'll bring you Ryobi and ellies, You don't want that cheap shiat.
You want the yamaha and kipor only but make sure that it's more than 5kva and has AVR![]()
I got 2 x 3kva ups's (I opened them up and removed the speaker/beeper) that keeps me going for about 80% of the load shedding window, the other night for the last 20 mins I was checking out fireflies in the garden, haven't seen those in years!![]()
It is a battery saving measure? - Removing the speaker
What do you run on the UPS's during that time?
I have a few baby UPS's which are used for my networking equipment but never though about removing the speaker before - Good Plan.
It's the measure of not wanting to throw the UPS out the window.
The beeping can become rather irritating.

One for my PC, the other for the 40" LCD, DSTV, WDLive. Been thinking about joining them to make the one at least last a bit longer![]()

What brand are they btw, Pretty big UPS's, What do they run off of Car Batteries :wtf:
Santa, is it too late to change my order? And can I add 2x5KVA UPS's I wanna get through all 2 hours of load shedding not just 80%![]()
Just normal Proline PC ones, they are noisy tho with their fans, but I've gotten used to that now![]()

Oh ok. Mine only last about 10 minutes, but yes, it would be irritating over a long period of timeIt's the measure of not wanting to throw the UPS out the window.
