Any chance somebody can shed some light to the fact that the usage counters was not reset at the beginning of the month? And when do you expect the network to be as it was?

How long is a piece of string? I'm sure if they knew they'd tell us

Now that's the part I'm interested in. What legal matters could CW be embroiled in that would require them to turn to legal action? My bets are on the NNTP deal they had with NextGenNews.

Definitely not NextGenNews, that's for sure.

There is a programming change being implemented to the code for the usage which is a minor issue we're addressing at the moment. The more pressing matter relates to the second part of your question, which is what Crystal Web management are currently resolving. When we said we would resolve all matters "come hell or high water" we were not being dramatic at all. It is one of those times where we need the full support of our customers and the general internet community.

Should push come to shove, I am quite confident that we will have the backing of this entire community and the general internet consumer market as a whole.

Hmmm. Interesting. I've always been interested in what legal wranglings an ISP has to deal with on a daily basis, so if you can ever divulge more than this to us, it'd make for some interesting reading.

This certainly would make for interesting reading. However this is substantially out of the ordinary with respect to daily issues.

Now see, you confused us again. Are you defending yourselves in a lawsuit? Are you going after someone else? What "legal issues" are we talking about if it's not anything ordinary?

Meh. Attach a time limit for these confidentiality agreements, then when they are all up release your book about starting up CW and use the proceeds to start up something like MEGA and annoy the US government like Kim Dotcom.

:D

Crystal Web cannot comment on this at this stage. However Crystal Web is not being sued by anybody...

This makes me smile. You called me a fool for demanding answers. This fool canceled and left and is now enjoying a accoutn with no speed or lag issues at all. :D

Cool story, bro. Now you have no reason to troll this thread anymore right? Cheers!

Just to clarify once again to cater for your lack of comprehension skills: I called you a fool because you went on the offensive without bothering to check whether the answers to your questions already existed in this thread, not because you wanted to leave CW. Nice straw man argument though ;)

Paul and I actually just discussed this. Considering the nature of what is happening, we expect that we will receive numerous requests to assist us in any way possible. Rather than directly benefit, we'll instead set up a fund to help protect internet consumers in general. It's just a thought for now though...

More than an arm and a leg. I would not be surprised if there was a kidney involved too :D.

Yeah. We have a local WISP in town which rents out and teams together 4Mb connections. Even with their relationship with the guys at the Telkom exchange, they can't get fiber until Telkom tells them it's ready.
