Many thanks. As you can imagine, we use our primary support avenues (Email, chat, and twitter) for evaluating what needs to be included in various reports and if it's not there, it's not included in the reports meaning we may be prioritising incorrectly on our end too.
 
Any reason why PSN downloads are so slow still? ETA of 13hrs on a 3gb download (4mb). This has been an issue since the beginning of last week

Crystal Web Promotional capped data is provisioned on our highest tier 1 bandwidth, meaning that no active shaping is applied, but the service is contended, as with all ISP accounts, and therefore speeds are not guaranteed 24/7
Crystal Web promotional capped data is heavily prioritised on the network for p2p downloading, streaming, and gaming use

... if I open a 100GB capped account today is the pricing, shaping policy etc only good until end March?

Not sure - haven't seen any updates in our support reports about it. Have you asked support to confirm for you or let them know about it recently?

This is intro-promo pricing. Depending on the uptake, we may extend it, but there's no telling what the future holds for now in this respect, so we're simply keeping things open to see closer to the time whether we will extend it or not.

Always use support as, well, first line support. We do all of our reporting from our own official support channels and not mybroadband, so it really is best to use our support staff as primary contacts and the thread or PM as secondary points of contact.
 
:D account has been fantastic since beginning of Jan, glad I decided not jump ship. Btw just a quick question, will syncing my line at a lower sync speed help stabilise the line, like from 4meg -3.5Meg?
 
When will we get details about this dual network? Will it be before the cancellation cut off date? I want to see if that fixes the packet loss and ping spike issues. If that fails I'm going to Vox which has none if these issues.

And yes I have reported it to support, they say it's my exchange, yet I am on a 1GB Vox account right now with a 100% stable ping.

OK, I've taken the plunge.

Sign up via the website was painless, hope that 19 digit order reference is also your beneficiary reference as that's what I used.

Posting this from my new crystal web capped account - less than half an hour from ordering to account activation :)

You can only sync in whole numbers so 3mb would be the next profile down.
My line was only stable at 3mb so I know all about it.
 
I'm trying to download an OTA for iOS 8.2 beta 4, it's approx 300mb in size, it's been downloading for the passed 45 mins and still says another 55 mins to go. Something is not right. This should be quick.

Nope, but I have NNTP issues. CW news server just stopped downloading for no reason. Unlocked my line and now it is running again at 35% line speed.


CW, any news on the duel network being released before 18 Jan?

The website isn't particularly clear here - is the amount of data you can consume before you get bumped down to Tier 2 shaping dependent on the speed of the uncapped account? Ie. is it 100GB for 4mb, 200GB for 10mbps, 400GB for 20mbps, etc?

Also are there smaller capped packages than 100GB to use for evaluation, or is that the minimum?
