You can PM me, always. But have support been unable to provide you with any answers lately about whatever the issue is? I recall there was a problem with NNTP that you had, but cannot recall the specifics.

Appreciate the feedback. Unlimited rollover will end up costing more.

@CW I think you need to relax your company policies a bit, grant them some freedom (plz enable pic sharing protocol)

I scheduled some torrents to run between 00:00 and 06:00 last night, when I checked the average speed of the torrents it seemed that most averaged around 100-120kB/s.
Can anyone please provide feedback on the midnight torrents, I don't wanna bother support unnecessarily.

Trying to decide whether to go back to my paid news server or not....
 
@CW I was wondering what happened to the CyberSmart backbone. Are you guys still using it or has it fallen away?
If it's still around can we switch back to the CyberSmart backbone if a customer wants?
Also do our discounts still remain if we switch products, ie. from uncapped to capped?

Man, I miss my unshaped gigs :p
 
Hi guys.

Has the downloads improved since early December. Especially talking about game update downloads for likes of swtor.

I left cw because of the poor performance concerning that but seriously considering coming back as webafrica business capped is just unreliable when it comes to gaming performance.

also noticed bad performance on torrents yesterday, this morning it was a little better but only half the line speed

@CW is this because of a new shaping policy or something ?

didnt wanna worry support right away, needed to check it wasnt my line which i doubt it is.

do we still get 100gb capped first then uncapped or has that changed now ?
 
I noticed the issue with torrents last night. I know how to fix it. Will hopefully have that in today some time.
