Again I have benefited from exceptional support and a "personal" level of support. I just got a notice that I owe Crystal Web some money, but I was sure that I paid. Turn out I made the dumbass mistake of making the payment, but into my landlords account. Billing has agreed to not suspend my account so that I have some time so sort this crap out. Thank you Crystal Web for being so understanding. :D :D

Always a pleasure. And these sorts of things are completely understandable, hence why we're not going to take any punitive action for a simple error. We hope one day when we inevitably make simple errors that this is reciprocated, which is the type of personal and open relationship we aim to maintain.

@CW, when are your new product meant to be releasing, or a vague month?

This month. We've done nothing but annoy our developers as we've changed some backend stuff and added new things along the way, which isn't entirely right, but we're "agile" (LOL) and need to take on certain feedback through this process. Hence a small delay, but you'll start to see new and exciting things pop up now for you guys to play with.

I unfortunately have a small capped account with another certain ISP who shall remain nameless (hint: they have lots of billing threads). They just charged me an admin penalty for a failed CC payment that was their fault!!!

Thanks for reminding me to go and check my cc. Waiting for a credit note after one of the ISP's made an error with their billing too.

Nice!

Looking forward to the new products.

Waiting on feedback from your Fibre feasibility thing-a-ma-bob :)

Hope you have some GREAT fibre offers!

Looking forward to it! Just 53 more days before I can move over...

I don't even have adsl and I can't wait to see what they pull out of the hat

Quick question: are the capped accounts fully unshaped? Seems like there is some shaping happening on Kodi, which is something I'd like to avoid - thought streaming was totally unshaped, but seemingly this doesn't fall under streaming.

Thanks.

Depends on what the protocol is - capped will feel contention in business hours on p2p and nntp, is all. But various sources of "streaming" are really not streaming at all - they're downloads off a VPS somewhere, and more often than not are not the most well resourced on their own infrastructure. Also bear in mind that Kodi is just the software, it's not the source. There are hundreds of Kodi sources out there, each using different protocols, and many of which are torrent streamers or similar p2p type services.

Can you check what's the fastest my lone can handle?

You're already right near the max the line can achieve. You may squeeze 12Mbps on a 20Mbps profile, but is it worth it? We offer 15Mbps uncapped and discounted lines, so somthing to think about.

How much more would a 15mb uncapped cost than what I am currently on?
I've probably asked this before. Blame old age.
