Barely scratching 1.4MB/sec on NNTP, on a public holiday when I'd imagine there's hardly any corporate traffic on the IS backbone. Glad the IPC upgrades were implemented before the 19th, makes my decision easier.

EDIT: down to 1.2MB/sec on a 20mbps line now.

How is the speed on premium uncapped below 10mb atm? I'v cancelled with afrihost already and have to decide which ISP to go with by month end. Looking at going for a 4mb line as i have a 2mb atm and the CW premium uncapped package is the most affordable.

Just got back from a few days away and my account is basically useless - 20meg VDSL crawling along at 1mbps trying to download apple updates and some http files.

The 19th is drawing close.

Also getting 1mbps in PE. Maybe something is broken - but this is shocking. So much for the IPC upgrades.

Arrived home expecting to take advantage of the newly upgrade IPC - but Paul - something in PE, she is broken.

Holy cr@p balls batman but this is like being back on 56k dial-up.

Other PE users seem to be noticing the same - please for the love of all things holy investigate with your upstream provider and let us know when you know.

No estimate? Want to upgrade to 10Mb but don't want to be hit with capacity issues.
