Can't even stream Dreamhack on Twitch at Medium...
Friends on Webafrica has no issues.

Can we get an update on this ridiculous situation...

I am currently at home and I have no issues. Streaming in HD without issues (Netflix / Raspberry PI).

Guess it must be a geographical issue for some, but I am all good here in Big Bay, Cape Town.

Likewise! No issues on Premium Uncapped 4Mbps in Gardens :)

Streaming performance is pretty iffy now. I'm not sure why its so up and down on Twitch when Youtube barely manages 360p.

Edit: IPC upgrade for Cape users apparently kicks in at 5PM.

Is that confirmed at this point?

That's what support said to me half an hour ago. The speed-up should also be almost immediate, so come 5PM I'm rebooting the router and doing some tests before I struggle like hell during the Xbox E3 stream.

Wait streaming Netflix from your Pi?

A brief update on the IPC front

Additional IPC capacity is on line in Cape Town.

Should be similar on CW home capped but on WA I'm streaming twitch on high and downloads running full line speed compared to this afternoon downloads were running at 20-30kB/s.

Not much difference at all this side...

Give your routers a reboot and test again.

I hope this will stay the same :) 10 mb Cape Town nntp

Just did a test will still schedule for 12-6 but its looking good

Awesome, Great to hear!

Well, the speed up is welcome. Downloads still shaped to around 1.5Mib/s, but that's better than before. Youtube now defaults to 480p. 720p60 is now doable once more, but it takes a while to ramp up in my testing (Internet Explorer seems to be best, since it reacts to bandwidth changes much faster than Chrome or Firefox). I'd love to see it hop straight up to line speed, but I haven't seen that happen for a long time, so as long as 720p60 runs without hitching, I'm okay. In my testing that needs about 2.4Mib/s and while watching the Bethesda stream, it would run at 3.0Mib/s for a while and then there was a period where it dropped to sub-1.4Mib/s. Perhaps these dips are because users are digging into the IPC now that its live.
