Watching and covering. I'll be doing coverage for the PC Gamer event and AMD's segment, and possibly the Microsoft event as well. Since many of these things are in the late or early hours of the day, many people won't be able to watch the streams because of other responsibilities during the week.

Bethesda's event is probably going to be insane. It starts at 4AM tomorrow and some people have said it could be as long as three hours.

I am afraid the moderator who has been dishing out infractions to Crystal Web customers is quite simply responding to my telling him to take a hike when he infracted me for calling out one of the other moderators who has a habit of making actual defamatory statements.

Well, so far the stream is okay, but not great. Twitch won't allow me to switch to high, YouTube won't stream at 720p. Might be the E3 provider's fault though.
 
Just a question guys... Does Crystal Web have a Facebook Account? Do they run any promotions from time to time, like Afrihost and MWEB? This seems to be the same story for all IS based ISP's?

Go to crystalweb.co.za, Live Chat is pop-up on the RH side bottom. ASk them, they can custom a package if there is not one you like.
 
Any new developments on the IPC upgrade for Cape Town?

I've had to switch over to Webafrica to be able to do anything.

It is strange...I too have better results when changing over to WA? Have had some latency trouble in CS:GO which seems to not be an issue when on WA. I thought this was an IS problem that would effect both CW and WA? I was under the impression that both home capped products are identical.

On WA capped my 4meg line is maxed. Earlier this morning I grabbed a 2meg home uncapped account, torrents were already flying at 230KB/s, could stream a 720p60FPS youtube video with a bit of buffering which was impressive in itself.
But unfortunately for the past 4 or 5 weeks my CW account has degraded to a point where it's just plain frustrating to use.
 
Mmmm, since WebAfrica and Crystal Web is similarly priced, perhaps I should go to WebAfrica!

Maybe a premature decision, I would wait for IPC upgrades before deciding. (and hope that IPC is provisioned and installed on time in the future so this doesn't happen again)

WA support is horrid most of the time.

I'd have to agree. CW has been an amazing service overall, it's just this past month that has been so horrid that I'm forced to use another ISP.
I'm sure once it's resolved it'll be A-Ok as it was.

Just really frustrated right now. Took time off work to relax at home, watch series, play games, but updates are slow and downloads are non-existent.

I only saw now that there is a tab to select from. Apologies for the rant, honestly never noticed that tab on the side before.
