Yesterday was the best CW day in a while :D
There have been times when my netflix has dropped down to low-SD, but never for long enough for me to actually get off my butt and log it or pathping or anything. And there have been times when D3 latency has spiked into the 1000s - both in the last couple of weeks.
Last night, Netflix was solid on 1080, and D3 latency in town was 190-195, and during a 4-DH GR trial at around wave 27, it spiked up to 220ms...

I had a terrible experience last night for most of the night.
Hulu wasn't even able to play at Low settings.

Just shocking on a 20Mb line.

I decided to connect my Vox account for comparison, Full HD on hulu, not a single buffer.
Gorillavid, cloudzilla, filenuke,etc. all ran perfectly, the buffer ran way ahead of the program.

I'm not sure what to say really.
Browsing was far quicker, streaming was better and I had lower gaming pings.

I find this to be a bit odd really.

VOX fatpipe issues also seem to be resolved for me, fullspeed NNTP, P2P and generally good streaming.

Has some issues last night after router reboot, called support and they were very fast and friendly helping me out, speeds looking like it should :)

Yours was one of those we moved temporarily which we are busy fixing up. Today should see things get fixed up. Working on ETA by midday for the few customers from yesterday's affected issues.

I'm loosing a bit of hope really.
It's been months and I have yet to be fully happy.

I thought by upgrading to 20Mb I'd avoid speed issues but this has not happened at all.
My points have all stood from the start; when I connect with a competitor's account I don't see the same issues.

I know CW are trying their utmost to resolve the issues but for me it has not really improved in the slightest.
For quite some time I thought it was someone using my Wifi but I have done numerous tests which have proven that to not be the case.
So it has been poor line speed all this time.
Speedtest, Testmy.net etc. all run poorly on CW.

I get told to rather look at real world tests which I have done many times with Hulu, gaming , etc.
For some reason I am just not getting anywhere close to the speeds I am paying for on CW.
 
Ugh I almost made a fool of myself now (not difficult at times) and was on my way to contact support because everything felt slower. Then I realized I am still busy ftping to my Xbox 360 at 3MB/s LOL. On a side note, I played the scary maze game clip for my cat on the big screen, he had a ball following that dot, until the scary lady came into the picture LOL.

On my forum I can setup a poll to allow members to change their vote.
The current vote is locked once you voted.
Can this be changed?

No NNTP traffic the whole night, streaming terrible, SO complaining about FB not updating...

I realise that most of the issues have valid explanations and are busy being addressed, but I discussed this with support on live chat BEFORE signing up, and was not made aware of any issues - I was led to believe everything is 100% (as per the statement on the homepage, too).

Right now, my 10Mbps WA account is orders of magnitude faster than my 20Mbps CW account, in EVERY SINGLE THING.

It's just not working for me. What are the alternatives? Pro rata refunds?
 
Hey guys - ETA for the few customers who had issues yesterday is the next 1 hour. All should be resolved again for you.

Does that include this? I am getting this from multiple newsservers as we speak. The NZBs are not even downloading.

This is now literally the most expensive, slowest account I've had. :(

EDIT: Going to give this till Monday then I'm out... need something stable.

Does this include the terribly slow/shaped HTTP? Would it be possible to just turn off shaping on HTTP? It's kind of insane that a download over port 80 goes at 20k/s while on any other port it seems to fly at 400+
 
OK customers who had issues yesterday and had a temp move to resolve the slow browsing can now reboot their modems and things should be back to just about normal.

HTTP downloads: multi-thread them for now
NNTP and P2P still not 100% full throughput but much, much improved now.
