Any issues with YouTube at the moment? Unable to get it to use more than 2mbps so vids are stuck on 480p (10mbps line).

I ran a pfsense video now and it started off at 360p,I then forced it to 720p(max for the video) and it ran without issues. In fact, the buffer ran a bit ahead in the 3 minutes or so that I watched. Speed ranges between 800kbps up to 3200kbps.I have 4Mbps line. So, all in all, it ran pretty decent. Streaming SS cricket and it is running good as well.

I've found that youtube doesn't default to HD, but if I manually switch it up it runs fine
 
Nntp downloads currently running at approx 400KB/s and streaming Netflix @ 720p.
I am pretty happy with this, although the best speeds we get on nntp downloads is never greater than 400KB/s.
 
Hi. I know this has been asked a million times and I've been keeping an eye on this thread and nothing much has seems to have changed. Any news about the ETA of the "Official" launch and the new product offerings?

Will it be by the end of the month? I'm want to use Crystal Web but would like to see everything that's offered before signing up. I've been using 2 different ISP's and both aren't bad but looking at the support from Crystal Web which to me is vital. I think they would be a good choice for me.

Would there also maybe be a chance of a slightly different Hybrid account. One where you get "x" amount of gigs from a certain time to a certain time. And then it becomes "uncapped" from a certain time to a certain time. I'm currently doing that now. Have an uncapped package with one provider and a capped package with another but would be great to get that in 1 account. I know what you offer is close to that but not quite the same.

Another option is like Neotel T& C's I like. It's clear what you get. You use "X" amount and after that you get "throttled" to half speed. I'm not a fan on throttling but other packages are very inconsistent. One day you can download a file full speed and next day I can't even send an email. I'd rather know exactly what I'm getting.

The ideal for me would be during the day from a certain time to a certain time be throttled to say 2mb or even 1mb and everything runs at that speed, then after a certain time it runs "full speed". That would be perfect. Haven't seen anyone offer this though.

We were going to launch earlier this month but we then identified an issue that needed to be rectified which is more important than releasing our full product range and new website. We're rolling in the updates now on the network - work should be done by tomorrow evening, and we can then get everything back on track.

That makes sense. Glad to hear everything is getting back on track. Looking forward to see what you's will be offering. I will be signing up with you's though for sure.

There are numerous upgrades they're doing to their network at the moment. Numerous MSANs, metro links, and DCs going down for planned work and maintenance.
