Can someone help me out with another query, perhaps wrong thread but I am a CW uncapped user so hopefully I don't get shot down too quickly.

I always see people mentioning watching on hulu and netflix. Though both these services are only available to users within the united states?

Is it that there's a way around this or am I just missing something?

The CW thread isn't like other ISP threads, here we'll provide support on other issues whilst we whinge at our ISP and their lack of delivery :p

(my game downloads are still running well post load shedding, abusing my account for downloads like I haven't been able to for a while)

:o then maybe you guys could help me out with a problem I've been having since I moved over to a 4Meg line, in the mornings my line would sync at 4096 then later on in the evening around 3600 - 3999. are my line stats too low for a 4Meg line? Thing is can't handle 2Meg speeds for the entire household (people wanting to stream and play online at the same time) is there anyway we can get telkom to help to get better line stats or is that not really an option? Or would it help to sync at a lower speed? Thanks in advance:D

Upstream line rate (kbit/s) 512
Downstream line rate (kbit/s) 3616
Line standard G.dmt

Downstream SNR (dB) 6.5 (highest this has been is 8)

why G.dmt?
 
6.5 snr is marginal. You will not be stable at higher sync
 
Using a huawei HG532s. it automatically uses G.dmt for sync speeds lower than 8Mbps

sorry, missed that you posted your router earlier, in the middle of a braai with associated lubrication :D

Can you PM me your username please? Resetting of ports is only available if your line has been migrated to us already, but resolving this won't require resetting the port.

Just to clarify once again to cater for your lack of comprehension skills: I called you a fool because you went on the offensive without bothering to check whether the answers to your questions already existed in this thread, not because you wanted to leave CW. Nice straw man argument though ;)

lol buddy this is what you don't understand... i asked those questions to their support with no answer and when i posted the answers on this thread was days or even weeks old.

I asked for updates and what happened CW stopped updating on this thread and even refused to do so via their live chat. I am not trolling I am technically still a CW customer.

You did not understand my posts in the first place... It had context that carried over from their support. They actually redirected me here for updates that we not given by the way.

It is actually my comprehension skills that got me to leave. A skill some people lacked lol
