Feels slow for me as well, but I don't use it regularly.
I have some very slow responses from a few international sites since earlier today. Local sites seem fine.
After a router reset:

I know this game.. I play this game! That latency is AMAZING, if this is what you get I am switching NOW!. What account do you have if I may ask? Will I get this on a 10mb one?

Right now, at this very second, it's sitting at ~195.
I can't very honestly tell you it's going to be solid at 160/170.
However, performance is good, I am happy. I'm just on a standard 4 meg account. Faster speeds are not going to improve your latency.
Slowly grinding to 80 in Torment.

Thanks for the response. Friend of mine using CW now also gets 190. We are playing on bloodlines... and the reason i am looking at CW, is he and I died to a timeout with AH, at exactly the same time. That and their latency is sub par(230). Friend switch over today, i will probably follow soon.

My pings suck on COD AW on Xbox one. Not sure if it's CW or if it's because it's international.
It's probably the game. Advanced warefare uses peer to peer which means it selects the best host as the server. Your latency will vary accordingly. I played it on PC, and while fun, the latency could be bad depending.

So why doesn't the game select me as the host. I want to have a good ping. The rest can suffer

Have you had any issues with random disconnects? I joined CrystalWeb today to try them out - and I just got a random DC (playing Bloodlines atm - scaaaary)

I had a couple yesterday, but there was a game issue with instances crashing, not related to CW.

That's good to know, the worst death in HC is one you have no control over
This wasn't a server issue though, I was there. It disconnect both from the game, and from ventrillo for like 3 seconds. Anything like that that you have experienceD?

My line does drop occasionally, but I don't think it's an ISP issue.
Personally, I'm not willing to chance a HC game with South African internet and the distances involved. Seems like a pain in the arse really.
Put it this way - I've been playing PoE just about solidly for 3 days now, and haven't had any DCs I would point at my ISP.

I hear you, I really do. HC is a good challenge though, it's feels like a different game to me in that you think about things you normally wouldn't consider/care about. The economy is also much better imo. Midget and I play in a party on vent, normally with different ISP's. This way if someone dc's the other can at least keep him alive.
Regarding the random DC, it's possible that simply reducing the sync rate(say from 10240 to 8096) will eliminate this? Anyone know if there is an optimum sync rate based on noise and attenuation?
