These guys go out of their way to provide a fantastic service. They give answers to the utmost best of their ability (not limited by technical, rather NDA) and the upfront honesty is refreshing.

^^^ this. Crystal support will spoil you for life. Every time you have to deal with another company you will just want to cry.

we really do dislike it when we are constrained in disclosure but sanctity of contract and the commercial reality of sensitivity in commercial discussions inevitably sometimes put on a bit of a limit
our rule is to disclose that which we legally may disclose

it is sometimes a taxing exercise but we hope that a general culture of respecting the sanctity of contract will take hold in the industry and sanctity of contract means a lot more than relying on fine print but rather a general respect for the "counter-party" and observing good faith and mutual self-interest
 
Busy getting my money's worth here. Got home early today and jumped straight to my Netflix, rocking HD like a boss no stress. If it was my old provider I'd be busy moaning to support asking them to fix stuff. Now life just works no need to speak to support. Joy

  1. Behind the scenes how hard is it to provide the Type of service you are currently giving your clients.
  2. Do you have people 24/7 that monitor the network to keep everything 100%
  3. Did you rather spend more on hardware/software to keep the network more stable /monitoring the streams and game data to keep this at 100%?
  4. Did you put more time in to the profiles so that they help you keep the network stable and keep clients happy for what they are paying for?
  5. If you had to rate how hard it is to be a ISP where 1 means that I can do this in my sleep everything works and 10 means its hard and almost impossible to keep the network 100%
  6. Do you think that asking the clients on the product pages rather so schedule downloads after hours has help your network better then just not telling them and let them get shaped?
  7. Last, How do you feel about being open about all your products, and how the client feels about this. (Telling them before hand this and this will work 100% but downloads must be set to between times)?etc


You can answer what ever you like if you say no comment I will fully understand ..:D

I have a strange problem with the website of Supersport. It loads without picture etc. Just text and blue hyperlinks showing...
Can some of the tech savy people out here test and confirm if it is just me, Supersport or CW. After about 20 refreshes it will load normally with pictures etc...

I doubt it to be CW because the rest of the net is working fine...

What type of account are you on? I suspect you may be trialling part of our closed gaming beta trial, which is intended only to test gaming (really, only gaming performance testing for now, and Twitch).

If so, please PM me instead and we'll talk in private as this is a closed beta trial group. If not, then there's something very wonky going on and I'll need to investigate further for you.

This has happened to me several times the last few days. It wasn't SS, but several other sites.
 
Certain parts of that site are not loading there. Well, the heavy framework stuff there isn't loading. Almost certainly not account performance related and possibly related to something else.

What DNS are you using?

Oh, and you would have specifically requested the gaming beta, so no worries there. You won't be on it.

It's possible there is massive packet loss happening on your side making it difficult to properly render some pages. Can you hop on our live chat support and talk to the guys about this?

I am using default DNS values. (Set to automatic)

So for those wondering, after a few tests on live support we have come the the conclusion the fault is not with CW but Supersport's host (Which I will not shame here)

95% packet loss only in the mweb servers points to them having an issue. They're pretty good at rectifying this sort of thing though. Let's hope it's not a power issue.

Surely a person must have the whole package, Mweb, Afri, Axxes sure all have email adresses, even WA!

Why would you want to use an email account from an isp? Rather use something that's yours for "life" and separate from your isp..?

The vast majority of people have moved to cloud based email services like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. And if I'm honest, they offer better value and systems than any ISP email I've ever seen. We could do it if we wanted to, but for what reward, is the question. I'd rather give you a free premium news server, which other ISPs don't. I"d rather give you no throttling. And I'd rather invest more into the network. People like to centralise on a single email address, or single set of email addresses. If you were to change ISPs, we'd then have to look at offering email only as a product to you.

Maybe one day when Yahoo becomes cheap enough for us to buy we'll give everyone free yaweb email addresses, but for now we don't offer free email addresses. :D
