Hey CW.... so the next game to hit the radars becomes available for preloading today... (Witcher 3)

So assuming I don't have a hiccup like I did with GTA, if I let it run in the wee hours of the morning, all should be ok?

We also have some spare capacity for premium subscribers during business peak at the moment, so you can fire it off whenever now. To be honest we're hitting highest peak at 6pm and around midnight when everyone's downloads are firing off, so we've upped capacity further and it means we have some spare during the day for now for this sort of thing as well.

I'm finding that my PopcornTime (ala Torrent streaming) viewing is poor between 00:00 and 02:00. Aren't the shaping rules lifted between 00:00 - 06:00?

There are no set rules per say. It's all about demand, and there's a lot of it at the moment at midnight, which we've encouraged and is great. We'll be making some changes on this front in the coming weeks on condition that we can get the new pricing from Telkom finalised (if that happens).

Thanks for the heads-up. Appreciate it!
I'll try manage this one a little better.... bit during "day" and some during the evening.

I've fired off 6 newshost downloads the last 2 days, 5 of them failed, anyone else getting the same or willing to share how they have better results? I'm using the CW News server and usenet crawler.

getting the same on most articles on CW, IS and Astraweb for some reason. Some as new as an hour old.

Your website clearly states that after-hours is unshaped? That's false advertising if you still shape according to demand after-hours.

Doesn't appear to be anything too bad in the trace, but getting this throughput on my 20MB

Internet crawling tonight for some reason. On capped account and 20Mbps line, yet struggling to watch a youtube vid on 480p without buffering. Based in CPT - Anyone else with the same issue?

Yes, in Cape Town Brackenfell too Vredekloof side. Youtube was painful an hour ago, but working all happily now, struggled at 240p about 15 minutes ago though on a 4mb line. 480p working without buffering now though. Tried restarting router, different PCs too.
