Streaming - almost no complaints

Are you able to hop onto live chat so the agent can run through some tests with you?
 
Any news regarding the torrent query I posted again yesterday? Even overnight, on heavily seeded torrents, I can only download about 2GB, where it should be at least double that. I didn't have this issue before I moved to CW.

@Crystalweb thought it was to do with concurrent connections 2 Fridays ago, so we agreed to remove that, but it was still the same all weekend, slowing to a crawl.

Will I be able to stream HD video on kodi with a 4mb home premium account as I can not with AH

I not understand this whole streaming from Kodi thing though.

Kodi is just a media centre front-end. Depends on the plugin and source of stream.
 
I usually use watchseries - shared for HQ streams, but would like to stream HD.

something i noticed last night when i was finally turned on by Telkom.

The username that CW gave me on the test account when entered into a tenda router does not work as it is limited to 32 characters, my username was 33 :p

No problem on my Dlink 2750U though.

Speeds were acceptable, but suffered some high latency, probably due to the fact that Telkom is mucking about with the line

Make a new interface in the advanced settings and add the username there. Worked for me.
 
kodi is software installed on a customers computing device

my setup at home has kodi reading off an external HDD more than anything else. Individual streaming services are plugged in to kodi and pick up their content in accordance with the means by which that streaming service works. Most streaming services are "proper" streaming services and kodi is awesome at getting the streaming services running on an entertainment system. Some services use weird and wonderful (often not so wonderful) ways of doing things and if so then yes you could have p2p traffic.
