Bare with me if my explanation is a abit scruffy Changed my news server to is after signing up with cw. 1 st download blocks missing anyway to know if its the news server or just a bad or deleted nzb. Also as we all do some testing with new isp even with ipc issues is it norm for nntp to run at 0 kb/s peak hours 10 mb homed capped ?

There are pretty much only 3 big internet exchanges in SA. So your traffic will either route via CPT, Durban, Joburg. So a big part of the Northern Cape and Eastern Cape will route through Cape Town

i would expect higher latency down to ctn, at least 14-16ms..

what i am saying however is that cw's control ends at the peering point.
 
Hope that CPT capacity arrives soon. P2P is horrible but streaming seems usable.

I joined cw on Monday what an amazing experience compared to my previous isp it is chalk and cheese

Agreed... 100% ..... and I have tried all the other "good ones" :whistle:

For streaming, CW is PERFECT, but not if you want to download torrents (which I don't) :p
 
Weird story on how I got into cw one of my mates on fb boet actually is the ceo shaun so yes even when doing nothing on one of the premium packages youtube and my apps on phone got throttled to pieces.

On torrents I am also happy I generally only do at night as it was so bad I couldn't use it I couldn't work from home during the day on email and voip services.

This morning I thought I would be naughty and download a torrent file and it is crushing it.

Amazing how cool proper Internet is ...
