If you use firefox try adding the add-on called "YouTube Center" if you're interested.
It works on chrome as well but is more tricky to get working.

It allows you to set a lot of custom settings for youtube.
I used to use it to disable dash playback, so the whole video would buffer at once.
But since youtube changed the way its players work especially with the HTML5 player, dash only works on the old player.

Still worth a look if you're interested.

So maybe its just me, but I'm constantly having to reboot my router because after a little while data just stops flowing. Am losing connection in my gaming sessions and Netflix battles to load. All in the meanwhile my line stays perfectly synced with good stats. Have temporarily switched to my backup account for testing. Not having much joy atm, don't know what to point at. In Jhb

Maybe we can finally have a thread for each account type.

At the minimum we need to differentiate between capped and uncapped.

I do this nightly for the past month or when ever the IPC thing happened.

I have to do it for downloads and twitch. From what i was told, it is that since you get a new IP every time you reconnect it essentially gives you an up to date contention status on your line, rather then it naturally happening on your normal connection.

So sometimes by resetting the connection you get a faster line for a while.

Paul, I know you hinted that there was a slight delay with the IPC upgrade, but can we still expect everything to be completed either by the end of today or tomorrow?
 
I was streaming in HD all last night without one hiccup.... I am keen to see how my line preforms with the IPC upgrade..... maybe I will be able to stream in 1080p on multiple televisions ;)
 
still having 290-380 ping ...... streaming comes and goes. Only thing constant is full speed downloads :(

What game are you playing? I've been playing League of Legends this whole time with normal (180-200) ping.
