Have not played around all that much. I will only put in the sim tonight at home and log in with google etc .... but so far I like it. It is slightly different from my Huawei P6, but also similar in many ways I think so dont see a big struggle ahead.

Ok....just quickly so far. I LOOOOVE THIS PHONE!

Screen is great. Phone is fast and does not stutter when switching screens and swiping through them. Google is installed out of the box. I had to download the gmail app though. Have installed Telegram also so far and works flawlessly as far as I can tell.

Only thing I am not sure I like is Flyme interface when it comes to the homescreen.
 
I dont think my LED notification light is working :(

EDIT: False alarm. It started flashing white now when a WhatsApp came through. Dankie tog! I would have hated sending my baby away so soon :-(

:D what is the Camera like ? Does it come with the data control/monitor app installed ?

I am a noob when it comes to judging cam quality. The shutter speed is pretty fast if it does not need to redo the focus. There is a lot of nise in some pics I tested....but the light is very weak in the room when I took it. Will rather test properly in good light tomorrow
 
Also it is working on Telkom TD LTE with my sim, and signal seems very good....much better than my Huawei P6. Sister gave me a test call while the phone is on LTE. I could see the phone switching down from LTE to 3G and then the call came through. I have signal issues on my Huawei P6 for Telkom. Even though it is not perfect on the Meizu, I do think there is a improvement in signal for 2G. LTE for Telkom has a strong signal here.


Here is a speedtest for you guys on the Meizu M2 note using Telkom TD-LTE

Awesome! Mines been shipped. I also ordered that liquid screen protector you linked earlier on. Hopefully my device arrives tomorrow as its been scanned in Jhb. Does it take micro or nano sim card? I have a p6 too will my sim just fit or will I have to get it swapped?

Takes a nano sim, so micro from the P6 going to be too big.
 
So far so good. Loving it. Something I am going to miss though is the radio of my P6. But it is not a biggie. Maybe I will just get a little radio with earphone jack for my desk at work :)
