Official Meizu M2 Note thread

I dont think my LED notification light is working :(

EDIT: False alarm. It started flashing white now when a WhatsApp came through. Dankie tog! I would have hated sending my baby away so soon :-(

There is an app called Lightflow which is awesome for customising the LED notifications for different apps.

I can recommend it - also get the paid version - it's not too pricey and has a lot more features.

So far so good. Loving it. Something I am going to miss though is the radio of my P6. But it is not a biggie. Maybe I will just get a little radio with earphone jack for my desk at work :)

Tunein Radio App - stream a lot of radio station

One thing that I think could be a bit better is the volume on earpiece. Even at its loudest setting it is still a bit soft. Definitely usable, but could have been a bit louder I would say.

^ Interesting to note that Chinese quality is improving.

Going to be interesting... I predict a bloody battle coming between the various manufacturers...

I am very impressed with the Huawei Mate 7 Duel Sim which I am using currently as my personal device , it is every bit a premium device as some of the Samsung's etc out there . I think on a whole the Chinese smartphones have improved vastly and they offer a lot better value these days than some of the more expensive devices out there .

Struggling with SMS, I can receive them but can't send any, Help

What is this "SMS" you speak of?

:p

Will see if mine works. I am definately receiving as I am getting my tokens to log into our system .... but have not tried sending yet.

Tested and mine is working. Gets a little tick when it sent.

A feature that I would like on Flyme which Huawei has got is to create a shortcut to a phonebook entry on my homescreen for quick dialing. I had our security company number like this on my huawei so that in a emergency I just pressed on the shortcut and then dial to save time. I cant seem to do this on Flyme

I thought that was a standard Android feature?

Maybe try a different launcher?

Go to the actual contact app and see in the advanced options if there is an 'add to home screen' option
