Official Motorola RAZR thread (Android version)

Suppose that's true...I'm thinking I still want this phone, I wonder if it'll maybe be on special when the new red pamphlet comes out, ha ha!

For the guys that have this phone, have you had any over heating problems with it? Also, does it come with the 16GB SD Card like the ones over seas do? And lastly, have any of you tried running 3D games on it, to see how it does?

No card (but they are fairly cheap). No heating issues, and my 3D Games are running 100%. Despite my ranting previously, I really can't fault the hardware.

Thanks! It's kinda sad that you have to buy the SD Card when overseas they say it comes with a 16gb card pre loaded...Oh Well, I'll buy one on my Edgars card at CNA, lol!!

I'm keen to get this phone, it looks different than the others, and I like that it's a little bigger in my hands, I hate small phones!!

Keen to get this. I have Osmos on my laptop, frustrating as hell sometimes but fun. Now I can get frustrated in public :)

LOL, joke is for the $1, you get the PC, Linux, Mac and Android versions and for $6 you can add World of goo to the list ;)

Busy playing Anomaly warzone earth on my Tablet, like mentioned before, I can not believe the level of FX on mobiles today.

Street view

RAZR users: how are your experiences with Street view in compass mode?
My compass/accelerometer works fine in other apps but street view with compass mode on is completely inaccurate and doesn't track direction and orientation properly.

I want to know if this is only my unit or the street view app.

Just tested mine quickly, besides being a couple of meters off to the side, works perfectly...feels kind of lazy that I can look across the street without opening the blinds...

This might sound stupid, but since it has 3gig's for app storage, can you still store apps on the SD Card??

Yes, but you are going to be hard pressed to fill 3.5 gig (that is what is available on my phone). Data for games and other large apps are stored in either the internal storage (8 GB), or your SD card. That application area is mostly just for the executables (I stand to be corrected).
