Edit: RAZR M, RAZR HD, RAZR MAXX HD will get Jelly Bean. The others are unconfirmed

Hi Got my RAZR on the 21st September from Vodacom.. Only got a option to update to 2.3.6 as yet hope ICS comes soon. Great phone!! Only one problem myne has a stuck pixel in the middel of the screen only realized after OBF 7 days wonder if it is worth sending in for repairs. I don't wan't a referb... :(
 
Think most of the users jumped ship an flash fastboot roms to ICS cause the SA ICS update is just too delayed.
 
I've waited long enough, it's phucking October, I'm rooting and installing JB or ICS.
 
Same, I just got it now, phacking hell is it infinitely glorious.

I was going to root but got a bit sad when I realised my pup chowed my cable. I pulled out my sim while being attached to a wifi network, it then gave me the update.
 
Busy downloading an update now. Hope this is the fabled ICS that RAZRs elsewhere in the world has had for months now. Download is just super slow...

Edit: Ice Cream SAMMMMMIIIIIIICCHHHH! Can't believe how much this changes the phone, even though I already had ICS on my other phone!

Busy downloading it now. Only got home now and needed to put phone on charger. Been going for a while and still has like 50% to go. It is rather slow. So excited. My sister already did hers and she says she is really impressed....and she aint no techno geek at all! hehehe C'MON!!!! HURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Ha! Even 1080p HD videos play smoothly now, where before they were almost a slideshow on the stock player.
 
Webtop is also completely redesigned, it looks like an ICS tablet view now, instead of just having your Fire****s browser open. So it's a lot more like 2 devices in one than it used to be.

Don't know if any of you have the crazy expensive docks, but if you combine that with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, you basically have the same functionality as a docked tablet. Pretty good for a free software upgrade, just too bad it took so damn long.

Yea it is a pity it took so long, well at least we know that it's probably the best version of ICS.

Edit: I love that when you swipe away notifications, after the last one the notification bar hides away.

My upgrade arrived this evening. The only issue I had was that I had to do a soft reset to get cell reception again.

I was wondering off you guys are still able to resize widgets? It worked on the 2.3 the phone shipped with but it doesn't seem to work for me on ICS. Other than that its awesome!
 
Well I've decided to use the Prime Nova launcher, it brings back the widget thing where if you moved one widget, the others moved out the way.

Also brings all sorts of different gesture controls, like 2 finger rotate to do a Google search is pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure you can also change widget sizes, haven't tried though, my phone's charging after being fondled with all day. Although, I did notice on my TF that I could only resize certain widgets.

I'm also using Nova because with the stock ICS launcher, I can't edit the number of screens, I'm not one for 7 screens, 3 is more than enough for me.

The stock also doesn't allow you to change folders into what ever icon you like.

Don't think I'll be using a launcher other than Nova any time soon

Mine can still resize, just checked now. Stock launcher and Apex. Strange that yours can't.
 
Wow...I really like ICS. The UI seems much more polished and sophisticated. Allso phone feels more responsive. :-)

Yay....it was worth the wait. Moto...in future...dont make us wait so long.
