Game time is what we need. So what if we lost. We need our players match fit and they not going to get match fit by sitting on the bench. The turning point for me was brussouw going off but we are getting there.

Awesome game and we did very well. When this team is fit we are going to kick serious ass in the world cup.
 
The win today doesnt count for anything. Bringing the reserves on was good for the bigger picture. Pity about steyn.
 
Oh and PDV is one of the dumbest pieces of **** ever to go near the Boks. He should be teaching pre-school rugby.

I dunno man it looks like nobody is seeing the bigger picture :D. Surely there are only positives to take out this game? Big players back, fighting spirit is there. All we need now is fitness and we will romp to another world cup victory :D.

Honestly dude, look at the way the AB's are playing and look at the way we are playing. We couldn't even muster a single try. I can finally say that John Smit is really useless..

All good and well, but we still are unable to score tries. Those we do score are normally from forced errors, interceptions etc. So where will our points come from? Hopefully the opponents will make lots of mistakes and we'll kick our way to victory... damn joke.

Wait you want to compare the way the all blacks are to playing to the way our b side overseas played and then compare the all blacks to this game where most of our players have had no game time and look unfit?

How can you compare a full strength all black team with no injuries or virtually no injuries to a SA team who have had an entire team injured and an entire team coming back from injury after a long lay off? Seems a bit of a stretch

I may be mistaken but we messed up a good 3 or 4 tries, so we can score tries but we just need to get back into the groove. I am ignoring our overseas trip because that was not our full team playing

Killa you keep changing your tune. Your earlier posts suggested the boks were going to win and now that they didn't, you are simply making excuses which ring hollow.

Yes some of the players hadn't played for 8 weeks but that means they should have been well-rested unlike the Aussies. I mean isn't that one of PDV's justifications for not playing them overseas?
 
To many changes way to fast. And changing players that are playing well and should have stayed. Poor coaching, plain and simple. ANd the whole game time needed story doesn't fly with me, the changes were far to quick and far to many at the wrong time. PDV should rather coach netball, but I'm sure he'll F that up also.

Lets just hope that all our players were holding something back ... to keep for the world cup.
 
Always said Aplon is too small. He's out of his league. Our Coach once again, proving is netball skills. I can't believe SARU allow this idiot to keep coaching. All in the name of fear for the black people that govern them.

Dude of course i thought they would win, we had a power team. I am not making excuses i am stating facts. After a rest you need to come back to full fitness. Anyways i am not worried at all, we showed we still have the power to run with the best sadly most of our guys could not do it for 80 minutes. Bring on the all blacks next and if we lose so what. The bigger picture is the world cup and i will say again next week the all blacks better pray just because i am SA :D. So i hope they are ready for a good pomping next week because we gonna hand it to them!!!!!!! If not we can always shove the world cup in their face AGAIN :P

We started to lose when brussouw ran out of steam and was removed. He will hopefully be able to hit 75-80 minutes by the time world cup rolls in. The rest of the team will be up to full fitness by then as well and we must just hope for no major injuries.

Enjoyed most of the game. Vast improvement compared to what we've seen to anything else this season so far!!!

What an awesome game Beast had today albeit on the wing. Pierre Spies showed some of his old form and was bloody brilliant. Brian as well made some massive tackles and cut the line on a number of occasions!! Lovely!! Defense was mostly organized, Jacque Fourie the general in that department. Butch put in some big hits!! Bakkies was physical... All in all not a bad day at the office!! But a game we probably should have won and that's rather disappointing...

Less impressive Danie way to slow for flank, Deysel as well, not international quality. Jean De Villiers lacked penetration in the mid field, mainly due to some fantastic ozzie defense though. Subs did little to enhance the performance when they came on (other than Bismark)....

But we can build on this performance. Let the b team play next week and let these guys continue to recoup, regroup and refresh...

Here in lies our bigest problem...
