I however have stepped in and am currently connected to your account and it is maxing out my line

So sent an email to support at 9:35 this morning, got a 4hrs later with the same issue at hand. I love OW but the support on weekends is truly pathetic. Time to step up your game guys.

Still sitting with an account with fluctuating/low speeds & line dropping. I don't download during peak hours & it annoys me to no end when I have issues over the weekend. It seems to happen every second weekend.
 
This morning for about 10 minutes, an http download was running at +-151KBps on my 1Mbps line. How is this possibru?
 
MrBEEP, I noticed an issue with the client portal:

I wanted to purchase a second capped account of 50gigs but because I'm already on a capped 100gig account the option wasn't available to me. I could purchase any of the other packages though had I wished. So I had to resort to opening up a new account...

There are a few nigglies with the current CP which will be resolved when our new CP launches this year :)

Depending on which package you have, but generally the network becomes more unshaped from 5-6 pm up until 7-8 am the next morning. (Weekends from Friday 5-6 pm up until 7-8 am Monday morning.)

Thanks, that sounds more reasonable I think. Looking at the everyday account here, 2meg line uncapped.

PM mrbeep, he will give you a trial account, I used a trial for a few days and then signed up, loving it so far :D

Crazy. Could have started that at 5. It will just speed up as shaping eases. I did some psn downloads and was impressed. Could even do other stuff. I paused other protocols though. Then that thing ran hard!

Thanks for that tip. Only reason I have to do that is that it will affect my star rating.
 
What are this star rating you speak of? There are no such thing here! :p

Yeah, AfricanTech and myself are on the same ISP currently where they believe in stars... download something or just browse and you lose a star, each star degrading your speed and connection till its 6ft below, while you still pay them for some unknown service. Hope OpenWeb keeps its performance ;)

I needed the issue to be addressed on Saturday not Sunday. If you think that's an acceptable response time regardless of weekend/skeleton staff then you have major problems at OW.
 
So quick question...

Which package is the best? Its friggin confusing with Gold, Gold Orange, Titan Uncapped? I see there is a platinum option and going by platinum being more rare I gather that is the best of the lot. So which is better of the listed products?

International access is terrible. Started at around 8am. Skype works, browsing and HTTP downloads are unusabled.

Seems now that everyone is back at work its that time again to throttle the living daylights out of us. Had to switch accounts its that bad.
