Everything has been ridiculously slow today, and now I can't even log into half my games and those I can get into have so much lag it's not worth it - Gamers King account seems a bit of a joke to me right now.

You are using a shaped product. Unfortunately, until Telkom drops the IPC cost by at least 50%, shaping will remain a reality on shaped accounts.

I hardly think our pricing is 'alot'. In most cases, we are cheaper than the average ISP, giving clients ALOT more throughput than the said ISPs.

Agreed why the F@#K are we paying all this money???? If this continues im cancelling

Currently being DDOS'ed to hell and gone. If your Google skillz are l33t you will find their other site that works .

As for all the negative complaints... I used to be like you guys a month ago but after talking to the support line via email and MrBEEP I have been sorted out. During the day today I had full 4mb line speeds except for torrents which were less than half but I was pushing my luck so that was expected . I am very happy so far with OW .

It would be so nice to be able to call these guys like now (8:05pm) when it all goes pear shaped.
Finding a problem real time would be easier than pictures of trace routes from the night before - and my prob in not latency but speed and throughput, local being fine and international being crap.

That said my freedom account was actually pretty good all weekend - as opposed to last weekend when evenings were unusable.

Just tested downloading the Ubuntu iso and I am getting full 4mb line speed. From my side there is no shaping, I could post a screenshot if people want?

Seems other protocols are shaped. Browsing and streaming is fine, but torrents and NNTP (local) is non-existent. Been struggling with the latter for about an hour or so

Openweb does not serve my needs. The protocols are being shaped. For example, I have to login to a Microsoft Exchange system to get my corporate e-mail. Today I was off sick so I had to work from home. The speeds, latencies, everything is just not up to scratch. I am getting complaints from my wife that the internet sucks.
I am sorry, but this is not working for me.
I am giving notice- going back to MWEB. At least there the latencies and line were rock solid, any time of the day or night.
This is about business, and the need for internet to be reliable, screw torrents and NZB downloads.

No you see I got smart...
got router that switches over to HSDPA when ADSL is plugged out...
International latencies on that FAR SURPASSES the ADSL.
Go figure!!

Oh, and this is old hat, same crap I saw at iBurst a few years back... upload speed is faster than download speed. Internet Solutions make me sick!!!

Nope http dl going at 80 and 13 on p2p on a 4meg I have never experienced such bad dl speeds on OW ever... well at night.
