OpenWeb ADSL Feedback Thread

My SABnzbd has not been downloading at all today (stuck on 0)
Is this something I should expect on a shaped service, or is something wrong?

I guess somethings wrong. Day 2 of being shaped a to 50KB/s of the normally 170KB/s I get during office hours - and bang 17:30-17:45 everything goes unshapped (hopefully/thankfully) then it bumps up to 200KB/s.
 
The network is unfortunately still alot busier than normal due to the long weekend.

So many folks are catching up at the same time. Things have improved alot today, and should continue to do so over the next few days

5 o'clock on the dot and the http downloads on my gold unshaped account finally start moving again... *sigh*

Is there any way I can improve my ping on the Chivalry servers? It is sitting between 250-300. Tired of getting kicked while I am busy kicking ass.
 
Logged my fault with Hellkom as advised by MrBeep. They told me I should have a rep over within 48hours.. Oh joy..
 
just cancelled MWEB last month because of the pathetic daytime speeds and went and signed up with Openweb Gold with the Easter Special as I had read alot of positive reviews on Openweb but these daytime speeds are terrible....

What is happening???
 
Yes day time speeds has gone down a lot. Never used to be like this. The network must be really busy :(
 
Hi,

I am receiving an auth error in OpenWeb. Tried the call center and she took down my number. But her attitude was very rude and it was as if she is doing a favour.. Hope you guys are having call center trainings provided to your associates before they come on board!!!
 
why is the rudeness of the call center staff a recurring theme reported by your clients mr beep?

Download Speed: 2684 kbps (335.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 736 kbps (92 KB/sec transfer rate)

Latency: 37 ms
 
got my standard uncapped super edition special details(R369 a month).

so far so good max speed of the 4mps account getting about 450kps , 10 IS news connections and 10 to tweaknews.
 
Kindly PM me the name and details of the agent so that I can take it up with the Call centre leader.

Mmmmm, battling to authenticate. 10mb Special edition. Must just say performance on this account has been nothing but superb, returning subscriber...
