The problem is mainly focused around the Western Cape and Eastern Cape areas.

The engineers seem to be getting a grip on the matter. Changes are bing made as we speak, and a smoother experience should be coming your way shortly.

HTTP is flying, but NNTP is struggling.
Can't say for sure whether the NNTP directly relates to the current problem, because I've been experiencing a degrade in speeds the past week or so with line utilization (max speed) at around 60% capacity.

Me getting around 240 k/s (just dropped to 140k/s) against usual 420 k/s BTW i am in the north west province. :erm::erm:

Anyone currently experiencing severely shaped NNTP downloads on 4MB Uncapped Gold Original? In the region of 80kbps here....

That's on both International and local.

We talking 20KB/s on Newshost, 5KB when I try update UBIsoft, Steam is 20KB! No man!
