I work from home and browsing is definitely slow during the day. I just got this openweb account (the gamers king one) Not sure about downloading, steam seems fine, update for SWTOR is going at 11KB/s :( As I work from home I rely on gmail and it is completely unusable, this has been going on for a few days now. Should I go back to Mweb? as there service at least works during the day (during the day when people like me want to use the internet!)

All browsing is slow, local and international. As I work from home I want to play games during breaks and the ping is terrible (over 350) I thought this was a gamers king bundle? I must say though when it works everything is great (sub 200 ping) but that is only early in the morning or late in the evening. I just want internet that works during the day, when I use it most.
 
If you experience an issue with browsing, kindly email [email protected] so that it can be investigated.

Browsing is unshaped, unless you download during peak, then it becomes automatically shaped.

As I explained and others too, how can you shape HTTP traffic?
We are talking about damn browsing not downloading

Well it is slow, as indicated by numerous posts? Can you perhaps give this thread some daytime attention, because support is not only needed after hours.

And deal with it in this thread for a change, for all to see? I think marine1 and I would like that.

You have our details, as well as others. You have our Speedtests, and our tracerts.

What more do you possibly need?

It would really benefit your company to deal with the clear issues in a public fashion. There is no need to discuss 'those' types of 'personal' details here. Merely squizz through the host of complaints in this thread since the start of this week +-, look into them, and provide an answer/solution.

I'm sure there are others as stumped as marine1 and I why this cannot be dealt with in a transparent fashion. Why the need for it to always be done behind doors?
 
Seems to be a worrying trend starting up. Couldn't connect to my work's RAS server past 4. Will check again in a bit.

More seriously though, pretttttty clear this is hitting everyone. Browsing/Youtube/Facebookerface is horrendous during the day and then suddenly decent at night, yet isn't the shaping supposed to prevent that exact problem? I don't mind shaping, I just mind it not having the positive side-affect.

Steam not connecting.
Gmail also taking ages to work, can't even see the icons used on the buttons.

Shaping is based on how busy the network is at any given time.

If you load any form of download during peak, the shaping device will automatically shape browsing. Some folks unfortunately abuse the unshaped browsing protocol by downloading using it. This has a negative impact on the entire network, this is why browsing is shaped when you download (only during peak).

If you experience an issue with browsing, and you are not downloading during peak, kindly email [email protected] so that we can check what could be causing it.

Twitch is a problem, as previously discussed. Unfortunately, it is a problem on their side. ALL ISP's across the world are affected. There isn't much we can do. We have tried contacting them but never received more than an auto response. I would suggest you contact them on mass to have this resolved

We have thousands of clients. I can assure you 'everyone' is not having an issue.

If they did, our entire support team would've had to be on duty right now.

Support volumes are very low currently, meaning most folks are happy.

Something that you need to understand about ADSL is you cannot blanket fix an issue. Therefore we invite you to email [email protected] so that we can individually troubleshoot your issue.
