Kindly PM me your ticket number so that I can investigate.

Internet is soooooooooooooooo slow! I'm trying to upload pictures to Facebook (300KB± each) and it's so slow!! Everything else is slow too, Twitter takes forever, MyBB times out.

*sigh*

My Internet came to halt Saterday morning.

Good day to you all people,

My internet experience came to halt Saturday morning.
Good speeds became bad speeds. Blaming no one.
Tried to get someone from Telkom to reset my port also became nearly impossible.
This morning I got hold of 10210 eventually. Did request port reset.
After port was reset these are my results.
Firstly modem stats, tracert to some websites and finally speed test.

All in a nutshell.

Your exchange is borked. The second hop on the tracert is very high. Phone telkom, report that exchange is congested and asked to be moved to another port/card/exchange.

Same thing happened to me at around 00:30 this morning. Lost connectivity, even though I had line sync.

Tried two different routers and a spare ADSL account. the OpenWeb account will not connect, but, the spare ADSL account works perfectly.

Have logged a ticket, and am awaiting a response.

Have you logged a ticket?

My account just went dead since last night, not authenticating.

PMed BEEP and he reset my port which worked.

I asked what exactly the problem was but didn't get much back.

Definitely an OW issue because, at the time, my other backup account worked fine.

Seems 90% of the internet doesnt work for me atm. Cant go to Steam for example, but Youtube and local site like this are working...

Was given a new account, which has resolved the problem.

ADSL up and down speed show how they suppose to, 512 up and 2048 down, but not one of my ADSL accounts are authenticating. Telscum says everything is normal.

After a port reset it is still the same.

Any idea what I could do next?

Plugged in another modem without joy either.

I would suggest you call Telkom again.

Some of their agents are less than helpful.

Fact and zero fiction. Had to wait almost an hour yesterday morning for 10210 to finally help me. Logged an issue with exchange and about 10pm last night everything worked again.

Just can't understand why telscum would employ people with zero intelligence.

O, wait. This is South Africa.....

So much for my unshaped weekend. Speeds have been fluctuating & are really unstable. Called telkom to reset my port, still dealing with this issue...

All is well on the network side.
