Thanks for the update. Other than this, VB has been super. No ways am I changing backbone.

The fault is to do with Telkom syncing you down. Please contact them on 10210 and log a fault.

I can access gmail, but most of the website I visit which are hosted in Asia won't open or takes forever. VB network.
 
Yup. Mine's completely canned tonight. Minecraft can't connect. At all. Sitting on a backup account atm.

Edit. Also sticking to VB. VB rocks.... first issue I've had in over a month, if not longer.

Exactly the same experience here (VB), for more than a week already. Hope it is fixed soon.

But still, I have no intention of moving to another backbone :)

My IS 384 seems to be infected by lethargic snails as well ... off to be time for me now... will try again in the morning.

Will email MrBEEPS peeps tomorrow if no improvement.

Good news here...

This morning I can access the international websites (on VB) that had been inaccessible for me for more than a week.

Really hope it stays this way... :D

Has it improved for others too?

No improvement for me, some sites still not loading on my side.
 
Downloads are fast, news servers are fast, surfing is dismal, Windows live won't log in. Mr Beep, what's going on with beloved VB? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think VB's DNS servers have gone belly up. Was exactly like this about 1.5 months ago. News server downloads are flying, but certain sites are inaccessible as well as PSN access is non-existent.
 
so only normal people like working internet? My internet is working, but I want to remain above normal and have fast internet. Changing the dns did not fix the problem, downloads are fast but surfing is slooooooooooooooow...any more suggestions from the normal folk?

We do not have any concrete info from VB yet. Please mail me so that I can move you. Seems like VB is taking their sweet time.
 
My international access has been sporadic all week. Sometimes I can access certain sites, sometimes I can't. I'll wait it out though. This is the first issues I've ever had with an otherwise flawless account, so I'd rather sit with a week or two of problems than move to another backbone. :P

You did run the command:

ipconfig/flushdns
