Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

ohh my bad. That kinda sucks cause mweb is hosting most of the local servers in battlefield 3 and dedi unraked servers in mw3. Only noticed it recently

Well it is sad that it hasn't been fixed yet. I loved VB.

I have no problems on IS with browsing or video streaming during the day. I use mine constantly as I work from home. Also no problems when downloading stuff during the day when I need to but generally I try and let any downloads finish over night unless it's for work. I had a bit of a slow down a while ago but Keoma fixed it for me within 5 minutes of emailing him.

Anyone on dsl heaven running slow this morning?

Line is synching at 6 meg but it feels like the interwebs is crawling.

Thanks man. Will try and change again. Not happy with VB atm.

My nzb downloads are going full speed but streaming is dead slow. I have kind of used way more bw than normal lately as I am downloading all the stuff I usually stream but other than streaming speeds seem fine this side.

Same problem here, only started happening this morning.

Both international and local are very slow.

Edit. SSL and HTTPS is basically not working at all. Unable to use Google Mail with Outlook. This has happened before..

Seems other ISPs are also having issues with GMail. See here:

Didn't they steal your lines ? I saw on SGS you mentioned that ? :wtf:

Or have they replaced it again since you made that post ? :)

Came back saturday, 9 days of bordem :(. An entire long weekend with no adsl, i cannot think of a worse way to punish a gaming addict.

Also dodge speeds on our 4meg DSL Heavena ccount here at work.

Think I'm gonna move over to MWEB, constantly have bad speeds with Google services but on MWEB it flies.

Why not try another backbone? The DSL-Heaven accounts should be ****ty because they're WebAfrica accounts, and WA is a ****ty ISP with more issues than can be counted.

Have used all the backbones.

For what one pays (R730pm for 4meg Gold) my MWEB out performs it, I'm moving.

You talk such shyte dude, dsl heaven is awesome. The laughable thing is you don't realize places like mweb have days when the interwebs is slow.

I should've asked if you were browsing international sites. Same old shaping on IS during office hours.

I do browse a lot of international sites and I don't have any problems with them. Sorry to hear you have problems

Hmmm changed over to OpenWebs afterhours unshaped 4mb. Full speed only kicked in around 23:30 - OpenWeb have been very helpful but are not sure what the problem is. Has anyone else experienced this? Does it sound like an exchange issue. They moved me to DSLheaven - will see if it improves tonight.

I am also on the 4mb afterhours account and here's my speed last night.

6pm-8pm:200 KB/s
8pm-10pm:350 KB/s
After 10pm:400-430 KB/s

Seem my speeds start to kick in earlier than usual and also during the business hour my line test 2-3mb on local but international is bad but its stated in the FUP, so the local being fast is a bonus.

Yeah really dont care about day time, I have all my downloads scheduled 7-7. I was sitting under 1mbps until well after 10 (international) - local was faster. Well holding thumbs for new account to sort it out

I didnt know we can change backbones on the 4mb afterhours account, thought IS are the only ones providing afterhours accounts.
Lets us know if you are sorted and if it is still IS based or another provider.
