Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

Some of you might know I’ve been nerding hard for Gozney ovens for the past year or three.

Colour me massively surprised when I’m browsing the Checkers60 app and the Arc XL pops up randomly with a special.

Turns out there is an entire local presence now by the same guys doing the Meater and Traeger distribution.

I might just be replacing my braai now.

Gozney ovens are available at checkers outdoor might need to bond your house to get one....

Pricing is actually pretty astounding, much better than I would have expected.

I wonder how they manage the logistics of the Dome, considering in the UK Gozney make you sign a waiver that they are dropping a palette on your sidewalk and after that it’s your problem.

Didn't remember who it was but knew someone was dreaming about them being available.

After some much umm and ahh decided to scrap the mortar pizza oven for the soon-to-be entertainment area and got an Ooni Kuda

Nice

There's a thread with some good info for the home pizza maker.

Another day, another buzzkill. I got a lot of time for this pie. Superb!

The 50/50 concept is very underrated. I almost always opt for some sort of variation with the exception of the buzzkill and the pepperoni deep dish I used to get at pizza vinos.

Well upon recommendations from this thread I nabbed one of those Andiccios frozen pizzas, going in the oven soon. Hope I don't mess it up.

There's a Panarottis at the shopping center down the road from me. They do half and half as well. Its not bad, and they use a wood fired oven. I wouldn't call it the best pizza, but its certainly not the worst.

Funny enough the same center had a Spur that was choc-a-block busy and one day told them to get out and stuck a Food Lovers market in lol. Wonder if they will wait for this Panarottis to be busy too then get rid of it lol...

Well to report of course it's not as good as a fresh-baked pizza but certainly the best frozen pizza I've tasted so far. Better than the Dr. Oetker ones you always find. Right balance of crust, toppings and sauce. For R75 it's not bad at all.

EDIT: I may have overcooked it a little, a bit dry and flat but still delicious.
