I sent the bf for the blood test, They said he was a bit too young (35) but they will test because it’s better too be safe than sorry.

So we are very relaxed about it until the doctor phoned and said he must come into the office, and she does not want to discuss it over the phone!!!

I’m a bit freaked out :(

Has any of you guys been to test this?
 
Good luck. I hope everything is ok. If you don't mind me asking what caused you to send him for a blood test?

I read an article ( I Read too much) in a medical journal. And it said that men should have their testosterone levels test at 35 then it gets documented and every 5 years tested again, if it then lowers the doctor know which level is normal, they can then prescribe the right dosage and not experiment. And while reading that i read that prostate testing is done with a blood test and not the finger any more so i thought t would be a good idea to have that checked out too. Just too be safe. His mom had breast cancer so i thought if cancer is in the family its better too be safe...

I do believe they consider these types of tests highly personal and regardless of the outcome it is not something to be discussed over the phone. Hopefully all is well.

How Is The PSA Screening Test Done?
The test involves drawing blood, usually from the arm. The results are usually sent to a laboratory and most often come back within several days.

I think it's very invasive and they should get something new to test it with:(
 
Killa, as awesome as it sounds in theory ... I do feel a blind when a girl tells me to feel her boobs in public. (Yes it's happened on more than 1 occasion.... ok 2 occasions, but that's still more than 1.)

We are used to it by 35. As we are suppose to have those checks from the age of 16. And i would rather the doc foddle me that ever have a mamogram again, that hurts!!

And the pooper and the vijayjay is two different things, one is for entry and the other one is for exit only!!!

Just make sure you take a dump BEFORE you go for the checkup.

I don't the doc will appreciate digging to get to the prostrate.

lol. From what I've heard, they give you a medical grade laxative to take a the day before the test that flushes everything out.

ok i am no expert on this stuff but from what i can understand (what my mom tells me) is that a mammogram is not meant to be sore, if its sore its done wrong...

Now trust me my mom has been for many a mammogram...
