Questions for Shaun.

Resellers? How will this work if you're with iBurst through a reseller?

Keep in mind, there is no way in heck I will give my banking details to iBurst. I will rather quit and order an DSL line.

The same rules that apply to the iBurst direct clients will be applicable to resellers clients.

Yes, but how will things work.

When you're with a reseller you use their control panel and you migrate through them. You buy boosters from them. You don't deal with iBurst.co.za

So how will that work? Will your resellers also upgrade their packages from 1 Dec, automatically? Will we have to call them?

Too much input.

Will check all these questions and respond.

Thanks

So whats happening with the month 2 month okes. Will they automatically be migrated to the new packages?

My contract ends this month and was thinking of staying on as month 2 month but i dont like the idea of having to migrate to one of the new packages.

We're waiting not so patiently to find out what the plan is for the month to month people. In the meantime I've ordered ADSL.

Oops, missed this(cause it was late afternoon again):

Thanks, missed those links as well. In the long run it looks like its going to be better going with the ADSL route.

Direct iBurst, Resellers and SP clients will all be migrated automatically. Resellers and SP clients need to contact their Reseller or SP should they wish to buy a booster.

Correct me if I am wrong:

The new packages states that you need to pay R99 per month for the device (modem).

The old packages was only about R30 for the device (modem)?

Can someone (Shaun, Gcebile, forumiteers) explain or clarify this for me?

This means the entry level product, 1GB, costs R248 per month with new pricing.
Where the previous package was around R229, if I am not mistaken.
Isn't that a R19 increase?

Month 2 Month notice

We have two month 2 month contracts and have just received notice about the new packages. It reads:

"You are currently on a Turbo (2 Gig) package
You will be migrated to the Wireless 3 (3 Gig) package

This means you will receive an extra 1 Gig of data each month for free!"

At the moment, I am not using 2Gig a month, more like 1.3Gig/mo on average. So at the beginning of each month (or at least that was the case for many months) I would sit at 4Gig (2Gig + carry over).

Come on, the extra Gig you are offering isn't really free :-) In my case at least it goes to waste.

I hate the migration process, it really bites my *** because I now have to migrate down manually. Is there no easier alternative?

Regards
Eddie

Wait until the middle of December when things settle down a bit.

Email Shaun directly and he'll do the rest for you. No pain, no stress.

Existing subscribers who will be migrated will stay on their existing hardware fees.
New subscribers will need to pay the higher hardware fees as per our new price structure.

The difference between the old 1Gig package(R239) and the new 1Gig package(R248) price is R9.
This also depends on your hardware USB Modem is R58 and Desktop R99.
