Same here. Though I have a bigger problem, I'm battling to open the SIM tray since the tray opening tool is at home, I've tried a bunch of things already, a single straight-bent staple, drawing pin, tooth pick...I'm running out of ideas here :twisted:

Sofar the speeds are not bad.. it's not the same product as the normal Rain LTE 55gb or 110gb etc. (it is definitely a more speed limited and shaped product)

Torrents are not full speed. some users complain about getting 100kb per sec. (1mbit) some users say theirs only do 2MB per sec (20mbit)

Speedtest on normal Rain LTE was 55-60mbit, Rain mobile is normally around the 30mbit to 40mbit mark.
 
I want to jump on the bandwagon but with all the delivery issues i'm worried, i've read the free unlimited days starts from order date not delivery date so don't want to waste my days.

The expiry date for my free data seems to have moved quite a bit into the future, so there seems to be a process that updates the initial dates (but not correctly, however I’ll take it)

Well find different ways of doing that then as a VPN in the first place is not the correct way of doing such due to the Overhead it carries. To put it at that 90% of people that want to use a VPN do so in order pirate and hide their traffic. Second to that this is a personal product not migrate my cloud around non stop or business use.
 
I'm being told the deliveries have been backlogged...sigh. All I can do now is wait until the "delivery agent" contacts me. This is absolute donkey balls, they can't even give me a delivery date or NOTHING :mad:

I don't see the reason why I should find "different ways of doing that" when it works just fine for me, regardless if it is the correct way or not...it is that way because I want it that way. It is relatively secure since I don't use PPTP which is the way I like it, and I do have another backup for cloud for some of the stuff via Blackblaze, and perhaps I didn't read the fine print print properly but I am sure that is allowed. Aaannnd it is my home connection so I can do with it as I please, as long as I don't abuse it. Again, it is not for business use, I am pretty sure I said that, but perhaps didn't elaborate properly, it is not non-stop use if there is sufficient speed as it is only a couple of GB a day sometime 1 but rarely ever more than 3, yes it will maybe be nonstop use at 1Mbps for a couple of hours though.

People may also use it to access their media at home while they are our and about which, yes, there are other ways of doing that but for some it is just they way they like it.

And just before you mention that it will cause congestion on the mobile network, it does not mean that I will be using it for all my data push, it will most likely just be used for fail-over on my PFsense router, which will not be that often anyway...if ever. It also means that I can have a tunnel running on it for my Voip phone, so that if I am not at home and someone calls Asterisk can forward that call through to me. I don't like giving out my mobile number to just anyone.

Finally I was merely pointing out that some people loose out on some benefits due to no fault of their own and that not everyone is a pirate.

I agree with you that possibly up to 90% of people may use VPN to pirate content, but it is not good to generalise without specifying generalisation as in the reply to me. However, I don't see why anyone should not be hiding their traffic in an ever decreasing "freedom of speech" environment.

Well you can only thank those that abuse stuff in SA for the reason that we need this implementation. I heard when Telkom just started the Uncapped LTE one guy would reinstall windows on his desktop every week and then download his whole steam library over and over again. Just literally *** like this which ruins it for everyone. Have a look at owncloud it might be better for you

Call them. I called a couple of times already, I still have around 200MB left on my TM SIM, but on my way home where I'll be on wifi. My SIM better be active before I leave home tomorrow morning

Sim has been activated around 3pm. Might have been earlier already. Sim is in a normal LTE router. Waiting on a LTE A router.

Well don't even get me started. The simcard I ordered to go to Richards bay still never got delivered and after I complained the lady said she apologized saying that the delivery driver that was on his way to Richards Bay had an accident and died.

Now I'm like okay sorry about that but I'm pretty sure she is lying to me because you get a sms when the simcard is out for delivery... Anyways she promised the delivery for tomorrow...
