Rain Mobile SIM Deliveries

Missed a call just past 15:00 from somebody working at rain... order #1500-odd
Maybe they did not find me at the office?
 
UPDATE

No sim card yet.

Tried calling RaIn, no luck. Their call system seems to be bugging out.
Got an email saying someone will call in 30 minutes, asking if I received the sim, responded back via email that I am still waiting.

Eventually got a call, but from a personal cell number, saying they are a RaIn Support representative.
Explained what was happening, on their records - no delivery was marked for me for Saturday.
I'm now listed to receive the sim tomorrow, during the 9AM - NOON block.

Phoned Sendr, odd bunch.
Claimed its on the way in the next hour, nothing.
Called back, "its still on the way", even though I did'nt give any info.

Called back to RaIn, but via the private number (since the RaIn official number is seriously screwed) and mentioned to them what
Sendr was saying. Also provided them with a voice recording of what the automated call system was doing to me when ever I called.

Lets see how it goes tomorrow.

Yes they did that to me too. It's with the driver he is on his way. So when I said wait I didn't give you any of my info or order number how do you even know who I am or what I ordered? I think Sendr simply lie about everything.

I personally think Sendr is a bad name.

Just wanted to leave the house and got this:

And then

Hi X, this is confirmation that you have rescheduled your delivery with the driver. Feel free to track your delivery via your dashboard.

Do I wait now or leave?

Odd doe not describe it.

I stay in a Townhouse complex (Stated in my address and addition info: Townhouse complex use XXXX at gate) the driver phoned me saying he can not find my house, told him its a complex with the name (while talking he hang up) Next he phones me saying he is in front of the gate, as I was going to say "I dont see you" he hangs up again. 2 minutes later I see him at the gate and let him in, then he tries to *** me out for not giving full info, so I returned the fav showing him he needs to go back to school as its clearly indicated in the additional info as well as address also how can I explain anything when you hang up every time as I try to talk.
 
Sim delivered today. They called to confirm if they can deliver on Sunday. Rica took about 2 mins. Driver scans ID and proof of address. Activation no problem.

Had 5 deliveries scheduled so far and still no SIM, in the meanwhileCapture.PNG my fixed products now slowed down
 
Rocky start for RAIN

I'm also still waiting for mine. Delivery was supposed to have happened on Friday. All I got was an SMS stating a delay. Sent rain a tweet and got the copy and paste response. I wonder if they will really refund me the R120 delivery fees...
 
Seems they are only going to credit the account. personally I want my money back
 
All, you guys who'd received your SIMs, would you mind posting your order numbers?

Order 1606, was scheduled for delivery between 4 and 5 on Friday, apart from the delay notification at 10am on Friday, I've received zero comms from them. I really only want my money back at this point.

Was also 4 and 5pm Friday, also only 1 sms received which was addressed to the wrong person as well. Nothing since then.

No reply to call logged or tweet. Very professional.
 
Order 570. Scheduled for friday. They called and asked if they could deliver today (sunday). Delivered, activated. 45mb down. 18mb up
 
I don't understand the moaning in this thread. Some of you make it sound like you won't be able to sleep another night without the SIM :crylaugh:

Order number does not matter from what I have seen Looks like location matters. Sendr delivers in main centers first. JHB and surrouinds, PTA, Centurion and surrounds and CPT and surrounds. The people in outlaying areas probably will get some other random courier pitch up some time next week.

I ordered 2 simcards on 2 different profiles. 1st one is order 175 to Richards Bay never showed no SMS nothing. Second order is 235 and was delivered on Friday evening at 6pm in Centurion.
