Rain users are angry - Here is why

Certainly not the case where I am. I will get +25Mbps on Speedtest and then 3.5Mbps on Fast.com with Fixed-LTE. Are you on 5G network?

Yes 5 G unlimited uncapped but shaped

Yes MyBroadBand 5G may well fix this issue of poor network quality HOWEVER its easy to forget that firstly, 5G rollout starts at the Major cities like JHB, PTA etc not baring in mind that not everyone resides in these Big Cities.

Im getting less than 500 KBPS (kilobytes)....
RAIN is NOT addressing its 4G infrastructure & customers are suffering.
NOTHING is being done to rectify that.

Worst of all their so called customer services are abysmal.

That is really a matter of perspective.

Signed up in December and wanted to cancel end of Jan due to abysmal speeds, but luckily did not.

Rain definitely is working hard behind the scenes, because speeds have improved considerably, and the area has also now been upgraded to 5G.

You just have to wait it out, or sign up again at a later stage.

Stupid company name.. and just another iburst in the making. Their drizzle will die off soon and then we back to another ISP that might last longer.

In the mean time, I'll stick to my 100/100 fibre line with 100% uptime over the last month.

Why are Vodacom peeps even on RAIN to constrain us.
Money? Last I checked Vodacom was the biggest source of income for rain. In order to do fancy things like rolling out 5G you need money.

Lol you want a cookie?

Everyone angry at Rain's deteriorating service remember: Keep calm, switch off router, remove sim for 30 sec, put back and switch on router. Problem solved according to the failed Apple genuises at Rain's customer support

This is why I am angry
