Same here: Aion is still unplayable because of the erratic latency =/
Investigating the Aion issue.
Investigating the wikipedia issue.
Just read on AionSource that it was not an isolated incident. Seems like we all had severe server lag.
Problem lies with NCSoft =/
Sorry for the inconvenience
Before the 'Partial service degradation' on the 2nd December I used to use my iBurst desktop modem connected to a network/wi-fi router (connected to the router's WAN port using ethernet cable).
Now, I can only browse internet sites, when I connect my iBurst desktop modem directly to my PC via USB cable, taking the router out of the loop. I can browse any site.
When using my router, I can only browse a few South African sites (such as iburst.co.za, mybroadband.co.za, google.co.za), but no international sites, although I can successfully ping any URL in a command prompt session.
Can anybody help me with this?
(I need to use my wi-fi router to access the Internet on my PS3 and laptop...)
now this is getting ridiculous, i checked my signal strenth (manualy as i normaly have the modem conected to the pc), since i thought something new may have been intefering with the signal but it was still 100% did a speed test, with the modedm conected directly and via the router same result speed bot times was around 0.30Mbps . If i wanted those speeds i would have gone for uncaped adsl, cost would be the same, i went for i burst as my previos agerage speeds were 0.70Mbps to about 1.0Mbs, which even at 0.70Mbps was perfect for me!
so whats the problem?
