Router Battery Backup

This one?

Seems like I have the same ONT - cannot get the thing removed from the wall to get to the sticker (overly cautious with the fibre patch cable being connected and all that). The installers placed the termination box to the left of it, not exactly making things easier.

Dude I am on a man hunt for that power adapter/DC 12V pin! Been trying random pins and having less than 0% luck. Currently using an AMIGO AMS66-1200500FV power adaptor. It has a DC plug that ends like this:

Not like this:

My guesstimate is that it is a 5.0/5.5mm outer and 2.5mm inner.
as per previous post.....Geewiz supplied me with the correct adapter.

Thanks for the response.
Same as the Gizzu unit then.

100mbps confirmed

power just went out and i hadnt setup the device. Device comes charged and powers up no issues. Able to power the Huawei 5G CPE at 24V POE, 1 Mikrotik hap ac2 and 1 Airties Wifi node @ 12v DC

Could I connect this o the 12V Dc out and then connect my 19V Huawei router to it over POE from the Ratel?

The intent is to get faster than 100mbps which the built-in POE ports won't do

I would think that this would be possible, but am not sure.
I got me a single Gigabit POE (similar specs to above R65 from Scoop) that I connected to a 12V source, but wouldn't power up my Ubiquiti AC Lite which is a 24V device. I added a power converter from 12v to 24V and used the same 12v input and worked fine thereafter.
You could hit the same issue with this.

Thanks for the insight - will give it a try - when we have power

Thanks for the heads up dude. Also snagged one earlier. Hope its not a rinse and repeat of Sinetech

absolutely crazy what people will spend on the same parts sold by communica wrapped in a nice plastic box

but i hope it works for everyone, working from home needs reliable internet

You think you could build a Ratel using parts? Most of is don't have that level of technical ability, and if we did the time spent wouldn't be worth the saving.

it's just a DC-DC converter with a lithium battery or am I missing something
There are at least 3 dc to dc converters, plus a charger, plus a battery protection circuit, plus a POE connection, etc...

But yeah, I could build one over a weekend. Discreet parts would probably cost more than the current elevated built price, so it's much easier to buy the finished (probably Chinese) unit. Also, my first prototype will not be perfect, so I'll spend the next weekend (and probably a number of future weekends) perfecting my design.

you are right taking those into account, and PoE is a bit feature
