No word yet from Communica.
It says order status unfullfilled
 
got so annoyed with the courier company...the guy REFUSED to come into the complex and insisted i meet him outside.....but getting off topic here.

Quick question, did they send you a tracking number? I see my order status is now fullfilled, but I dont know what that means
 
i didnt get a tracking number , when i checked this morning it said " fullfilled ", i was going to wait a bit and then query the tracking number, but it arrived....

I was going to run something that doesn't need 1gb , but i just realised the poe on my mikrotik is the internet port...and my internet is 200.i guess i dont HAVE to use the poe port.

Can you power over 12V DC?
 
Can i get a POE injector and connect it to another port on my mikrotik, to power it on?
this way i can connect something that i dont mind being on 100mb, but still get the full gb internet port on the mikrotik.
come to think about it....i wonder if i can change the internet port on the router OS?i think i saw something like that.

Someone else suggested using a PoE injector powered by the Ratel which, at least in theory, should work.

Going to try this after work....will just change the WAN interface to something else
