Well they're not expensive so not a big deal to pay a bit more for separate supplies rather than split the output of a bigger one (plus you may need a different power supply).
R 375 for 1.85 AH
R 625 for 3.7 AH

Me I'd like to consolidate into one supply rather than oversize on each of 4X devices.

I got a 700 VA UPS with a 7Ah battery for R300. I'm going to hook up two b315s and a TP link wireless router. Those three devices should use less than 20w between them, so by my reckoning the UPS should last a good two hours and it works out quite a bit cheaper than three of those backup batteries from geewiz

Excellent, just open it up and put some prestik over the annoying piezo tweeter like i did.
If your battery doesnt last the 2hrs toss it away and install external batteries like i did

After 2hrs load shedding last night and whacking the pooh out of my hifi each battery was sitting on 12.7 volts so no harm done to my lead acids :thumbsup:

105aH each. They are normal truck batteries, not deep cycle so i keep a careful eye on them when load shedding kicks in. Luckily they only dip to 12.7volts

Wonder if I can hookup those UPSs onto those batteries?

Any idea where one can see what the charger can handle, or even the inverter?

The black box I use to jumpstart the car... and more recently my generator. The inverter is something I keep in my car to power my laptop and/or charge camera batteries when I'm on the road.

Ugly but gets the job done. :)

The chargers are designed to handle a certain size battery so yes my charger does get warm as it is now charging longer
