Router Battery Backup

I see sinetech has a new powerhex inverter package. It seems to be the same idea as the Mecer / Ellies trollies, except pure sine. And pricey - R15 400 - for a 105Ah solution.
Could this be axpert mex 1.5K ?

Can you explain to me how the Ratel’s POE works – in otherwords does it have a LAN input and then POE output?

Can the POE carry the data transmission is what I am trying to get at?

Mikrotik è LAN cable to Ratel => Lan cable POE to Unifi AP.

Ratel DC output => Mikrotik

Ratel USB => Raspberry Pi

(Tik, AP + Raspberry) draws 16 watt

Yes the POE portion of the Ratel is a switch and transmits data. Here is how my setup is hooked up to my Ratel 860P:

- 12V port on Ratel to Vumatel ONT
- Vumatel ONT LAN port to LAN input on Ratel
- Ratel POE output to POE/WAN port on Mikrotik
- Ratel USB port to Raspberry PI Zero

Where did you get the wires I assume you need some kind of DC female to DC female?

They included one DC to DC cable that can power two devices (splits into two) but that was a bit short for me. Luckily they also included a single DC connector. I then bought a second DC connector and some wire from Yebo Electronics to build a longer cable to use with the Vumatel ONT.

Looking at the 430m for my router and CPE box. Sinetech have stock online. Are these guys reliable?
Based in Cape Town.

I asked on Monday for this info. So it should work with my Mikrotik, then. Thanks dude

the 412 tops out at 10w/15w while the 430 is 30w no?

Managed to get a Ratel 430M. It comes with one DC to DC connector cable, the only thing this is split one-into two. Is it possible to use this to power the fibre modem and the router in one 12v output?

Yes, why would it not be possible? As long as both are 12V and do not pull more W(atts) than what the port can provide, you should be golden.
