What I would do for some decent active PoE backup solutions right now :cautious:
Literally need to power a hotspot and phone x6 buildings

Got me the Gizzu dual dc unit (No POE) yesterday fron incredible Con for 799. so far so good. didnt know if the unit can be opened but i see a previous poster on here mentioned the screws are under the rubber feet.

was 25% charged (as per indicator light) when loadshedding hit and lasted about 1h40mins. so all in all serving its purpose. powering a huawei router/cpe bundled unit on vumareach.

Does anyone have a manual for the Gizzu 8800mah UPS Dual DC?. I threw mine out long ago and I cant find the manual online
If you do have one on, can you see if the both the DC ports have a shared output of 3A or is it 3A each output?

The specs I can find just shows this.

Went to IC this morning. Website showed stock in store. The store has the exact same device at R999 and refused to give it to me at R799. I ended up ordering online form somewhere else.

i would have caused a stink if it was the same model. the label showed 999 but it rang up as R799, i called before hand to confirm stock.

note there are two models:
Model 1 = 1 x POE; 1 X dc
Model 2 = 2 DC2

checking their website they have both (dual dc for 799) which is what i got and then POE version for 999.

i initially ordered on takealot (POE model) before i knew there were 2 models. I then saw that takealot can only get it to me 4 nov - so i will return that one when received.

I have this and works well. Think got it beginning of last year. First used it with a fibre ONT and a router, and now just with a LTE connection router. With fibre it lasted 6hours something when somebody accidentally put the plug off.

Why didn't you use it?

Ellies 500Wh battery

R20K on Takealot

Has a 5 star review on Takealot, I wonder if the reviewer would still love the colour and the R20K he paid for a R6K unit.

The forever golden rule: ALWAYS shop around...

Look at the R26k for a washing machine that is under R15k everywhere else.

Check this out on takealot: Speed Queen - 10.5kg Electronic Top Load Washer - AWNE8RSN
