Anyone got links to the Spanish JB ROM? The IB link from earlier and the link on SamMobile both link to the same Hotlink file and I am only getting 4KB/sec from them.
 
Phone went in on Saturday.

Phoned today at 10am...response: phone has been repaired and tested. it is ready for despatch. please phone back later.

I phone later 3pm...same story....so I ask when will it reach the shop I dropped it at...probably Mon or Tues....sheesh

With 4.1.2, you actually get close to the perfect OS for the S2.

Watching a ton of YouTube videos, listening to a lot of new music & using the camera more than I ever did.

Just love my S2. :love:
 
I'm running Omega and my keyboard lags... It's really annoying, is there any way I can fix it?

Using SwiftKey btw

I can often type WAY faster and often it simply doesn't recognise key presses unless I slow down my typing

Try a different kernel like DorimanX 7.44 or later
 
I did the Spanish 4.1.2 update but cannot get my MTN data connection. Of course contacting Autopage got the "I'm sorry our data people have just gone off, try tomorrow" line.

I have had two APNs sent to me via *123*12#, MTN-DATA and MTN-MMS-GPRS.

Neither work and if I try to look at the settings on either and then exit it says MCC field must be 3 digits.

Anyone got an experience or settings I can use please?

get a new sim.

Is your primary and/or spare sim a 64K or 128K sim? If not then I recommend you get your sim upgraded.

If it is then I dunno I'm sure someone else will be able to sort you out ;)
 
Weird coz I'm still using my 16k CellC sim and have flashed multiple ROMs and have yet to experience an issue. :confused:
 
Thanks for the advise. the new SIM did the trick. I now have a data connection again!

When JB officially rolls out here they networks are going to to great business with all the new SIMs :twisted:
 
Anyone having issues with screen turning off. My screen only goes dim and not fully off on the Spanish firmware.

Happens on stock and dorimanx kernel?
